In our backyard grows a bush-like weed with purple and yellow flowers. It is about 2.75 feet tall and is growing in mostly full sun. I have also seen this exact same plant growing on a fence as a vine. Here are pictures of the weed. Sorry if they are a little fuzzy.

Sarah, this plant has me baffled. I don’t think I’ve seen it before. I sent a picture to my gardening friend to see if she can help. It is rather attractive.

The last weather forecast I saw had only 1 day of 90’s rather than several. Perhaps St. Philomena is helping the crops in that way. Thanks for the prayers.
The only plant that came to Ethel’s mind, was Dame’s rocket. I looked at that on the internet, but it didn’t match your vine. Dame’s rocket looked like a phlox plant to me. When do you attend outdoor classroom?
